Welcome to Southern Region Squash |
|
Southern Region Squash consists of a regional area from Toowoomba, Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast, it consists of elite juniors and top grade players that play all around the region. Every year the juniors come together to play in six regional tornaments to get a place in the southern region team known as the Southern Storm, whom then go away to compete against 2 other regions, Northern Redbacks and the Central Bulls. - Southern Region helps with developing regional junior squash players.
- Administering and organizing four junior regional selection tournaments.
- Selection of regional players and teams.
- Selection of the Southern Region Unlock the Pyramid Team (Seniors)
- Help with the development of Coaching and Refererees.
- Organize select and help with the Southern Region Junior Squad for the State titles.

May 16 & 17 Acacia Ridge Junior Open (The Acacia Ridge event is a Southern Region compulsory tournament combined with Brisbane City that will also establish the Southern Region Junior Age Champions for 2009. The Acacia Ridge Junior will be a compulsory tournament for all junior players hoping for selection in the Southern Region Junior Team. They must also play in at least two of the other three selection tournaments. |
